I purchased the purple version of this shirt since in the image the words were easy to view (unlike on the black shirt). When I got it, however, it was much darker than shown and you couldn't read the lettering at all. The colors were also not nearly so bright (the red looked like a dull off orange) and it had a HORRIBLE chemical smell to it, I guess because it had just been printed. Not a pleasant scent! I have contacted the company about the shirt asking for a return or exchange, but thanks to the horrible smell, I'd prefer a return. Hopefully they will pay shipping. I ADORE George Takei, but this company's shirts are VERY poor quality. If you do get one, be safe and get the white!!!
