I paid a little more for this chest protector than I have in the past, but it was well worth it. I love the protection, my son loves the comfort...and when you're playing numerous games per week and sometimes numerous games in a day in all star season, that's very important. We've tried several different brands and many are uncomfortable or itchy. Not this one... highly recommend it!
