It does run larger that a small but I'm okay with that because my son will just use it for longer. IF it lasts. While the material itself is certainly an excellent cotton (no really, it is), I think the seams could have been better. I'm already having to sew around the pockets and ankles because stitches have come loose. Still, I'd order it again if I had to go back. It's really great quality material and my son loves it!
