Kind of heavy-weight material, very sturdy but not uncomfortably heavy. The print is soft too, not some iron-on feel. It hasn't shrunk much if at all and I have washed it several times. I am kind of on the chesty/busty side, so this dog had buggy eyes as a result. I get a lot of laughs and comments. I wear it as a sleep shirt most of the time, but often crawl out of bed and sport it to the coffee shop. It really doesn't get terribly wrinkled, even after sleeping in it. I love this and have given a few out as gifts.

I have had this for quite a while. I have worn it for everything from sleeping to washing the car and camping. It has been washed a hundred times and still looks pretty new.
